South Carolina State Bluegrass Festival

  • When: November 26 – November 28
  • Where: Myrtle Beach Convention Center | North Myrtle Beach

For the 51st consecutive year, the Myrtle Beach area will be treated to the South Carolina Bluegrass Festival. This is an event for the whole family. Ticket prices start at just $40 per day for adults and $20 for ages 5-7. You and your family will enjoy bands like The Marksmen, Lonesome River Band, Carolina Blue, Bass Mountain Boys, and other excellent bluegrass acts. This is a can’t-miss event in the Myrtle Beach area. 

Even if you are not in town for one of these great events, you can always enjoy the restaurants and entertainment options on the Grand Strand, wonderful historic downtown areas in the surrounding communities, or a day/week hitting the links on some of the best golf courses in the South. If you want a quiet day at the beach, you can find plenty of space on the pristine Carolina coastline. If you want to try your hand at extreme watersports, the ocean and air temperatures remain warm through October.
